SAG-AFTRA National Board Overwhelmingly Approves Commercials Contracts Deal

SAG-AFTRA’s National Board approved tentative commercial contracts valued at a $218 million increase over three years, with performers receiving compounded wage growth of 5%, 4%, and 3% in the first, second, and third years, respectively. The deals include enhanced protections for digital replica use, such as performer consent requirements and safeguards against AI-driven content generation. The National Board recommended a vote to ratify the agreements, which now move forward with eligible members able to cast their votes until May 21.
