Tokyo installs extra-large campaign boards ahead of metropolitan assembly vote

With just under a month remaining until the June 22 Tokyo Metropolitan Assembly election, municipalities have begun installing large poster boards in neighborhoods to accommodate an expected surge in candidates. Some areas now feature up to 70 slots, a move also aimed to prepare for the subsequent House of Councilors election later this year.
