WhatsApp launches long-awaited iPad app

WhatsApp finally makes its way to iPads through a dedicated app, offering video and audio calls with up to 32 people and seamless screen sharing. The app integrates with iPadOS features such as Stage Manager and Split View, allowing multitasking like web browsing or research during calls. Messages remain encrypted for privacy. Meta also teases other apps, including Instagram, may soon follow suit.
