Cursor’s Anysphere nabs $9.9B valuation, soars past $500M ARR

Anysphere, the maker of AI coding assistant Cursor, raised $900 million at a $9.9 billion valuation, marking its third fundraise in under a year after securing $100 million previously. The company, known for its successful growth with ARR doubling every two months, is now offering enterprise licenses alongside individual subscriptions. Earlier this year, Anysphere faced interest from potential buyers like OpenAI but ultimately turned them down, instead focusing on expanding its services and acquiring Windsurf for $3 billion.
