Spirit Awards Move to Hollywood Palladium for February 2026 Ceremony – Film News in Brief

Film Independent has announced that the 2026 Spirit Awards will take place Sunday, Feb. 15 at the Hollywood Palladium. The move comes as the Spirit Awards’ longtime home, Santa Monica, undergoes “exciting renovations” in preparation for the Olympics. “We’re thrilled to bring the Spirit Awards to the historic Hollywood Palladium,” said Spirit Awards executive producer Shawn Davis. “There is always more in store at Tribeca,” Tribeca Festival director and SVP of programming Cara Cusumano said in a statement. “The Emerging Filmmaker Showcase continues to showcase a strong slate of films and filmmakers highlighting diversity, equity, and inclusion,” Emerging Filmmaker Showcase director Monika Skerbelis said in a statement.
