The upgraded version of their SO-100 model features faster assembly times, stronger motors that reduce friction while supporting the arm's own weight, and an AI-powered learning system capable of handling tasks such as stacking Lego blocks. Available starting at $100 with higher costs due to tariffs, up to $500 globally, Hugging Face is also expanding its robotics portfolio by acquiring Pollen Robotics to further integrate cutting-edge technology into its offerings.
