Protagonist Pictures, a London-based sales, finance, and production company, has launched its new boutique label, Protagonist Picks, just ahead of the Cannes Film Festival. Directed by CEO Dave Bishop, the label will focus on bold and distinctive projects to attract global audiences. Isabel Ivars, who brings expertise in festivals and international sales, is now heading the label, set to release an inaugural slate including documentaries, a sports comedy, and a romantic drama. Protagonist Picks will seamlessly integrate with the company’s existing slate of films, leveraging their comprehensive support structure to enhance storytelling across features, docs, and episodic content.
