Ram Kapoor To Lead JioHotstar’s Indian Adaptation Of ‘Monk’

Ram Kapoor, a leading Indian actor known for roles in *Kasamh Se* and *Bade Achhe Lagte Hain*, has been cast as Armaan Mistry in the upcoming Indian adaptation of *Monk*. The series, produced by Banijay Asia in association with Universal International Studios and directed by Rishab Seth, will premiere on JioHotstar on June 27. Monitorsing star Mona Singh, Shikha Talsania (from *Wake Up Sid*), and Kshitish Date (from *Mulshi Pattern*) will also star. The show marks the first adaptation of the series about a detective with obsessive-compulsive disorder in South Asia and reflects a fresh local interpretation inspired by its original legacy.
