Star Wars: Starfighter Is a New Film Starring Ryan Gosling That's Arriving in Theaters in May 2027

Lucasfilm has announced "Star Wars: Starfighter," directed by Shawn Levy, starring Ryan Gosling, set five years after "The Rise of Skywalker." The film is slated for release on May 28, 2027. Production starts this fall. Gosling will play a new character, and the movie is part of a new wave of Star Wars projects.
