To Win This Contest, Just Squawk Like a Seagull

A quirky and competitive event brought laughter and creativity to a Belgian seaside town as 70 participants from around the world tried to outdo each other in mimicking gull sounds and appearances for the fifth annual European Gull Scream Championship. Participants donned elaborate costumes featuring fake feathers, beaks, claws, and even white face paint or capes to create lifelike imitations of gulls' calls and plumage. Anna Brynald from Denmark claimed victory in the adult category with her whimsical white-and-yellow ensemble and elaborate feathered attire.
