Cinematographers Guild Re-Elects John Lindley As President, Reveals Full 2025 National Election Results

The International Cinematographers Guild has announced that John Lindley will continue as its president after successfully rejoining the role he held from 2020 to 2022, now set to serve until June 2028. With 35.6% of eligible voters participating in the election, Lindley garnered 1,482 votes compared to his opponents, Dave Perkal (685) and Baird B Steptoe (591). The new leadership team will officially begin their terms in June 2025, following Guild founder Eugene diagnose and unionization efforts. Founded in 1919, the Guild now represents around 10,000 members working across film, TV, streaming, and commercials.
