Escalation fears rise in Japan following Chinese moves near Senkakus

Concerns have escalated in Tokyo as a Chinese government helicopter violated Japan’s airspace around the Senkaku Islands, following a civilian plane incident nearby. This marks the fourth such incursion by Chinese aircraft, with this being the first involving a helicopter, according to the Defense Ministry.
