Kneecap concert footage assessed by police over alleged ‘kill your MP’ call

Rap trio Kneecap has allegedly incited violence against British MPs based on footage from a gig where members were seen making threats, including quoting lyrics that call for the death of Tory MPs. Earlier in the week, they were spotted at another event supporting groups like Hamas and Hezbollah, which are banned in the UK. Sharon Osbourne, who manages Kneecap's music division, called the images at a Coachella festival hate speech but has since criticized them as part of an orchestrated campaign against the band. The band was previously dropped by their former sponsor due to these statements, with visa holders reportedly facing threats ahead of a North American tour.
