Personalized AI-powered Smart Replies are coming to Gmail

Google’s I/O 2025 previewed new Gemini AI-driven features for its Workspace apps, including Personalized Smart Replies in Gmail, which uses past emails and documents to craft tailored responses. The system analyzed notes from a friend's road trip in Colorado to Utah to draft an itinerary email matching Pichai’s style. New Inbox cleanup and fast appointment scheduling features are also coming soon, but some users have found them intrusive. These features will start this summer for Workspace subscribers.
