Elon Musk steps away from the White House

Elon Musk announced his official departure from the White House on Wednesday night, thanking President Trump for his role in reducing wasteful spending within the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE). Despite expressing gratitude and stating that DOGE's mission would strengthen over time, his exit is expected due to a 130-day special government employee timeline, as well as ongoing conflicts between his political activities and his focus on Tesla.
