Epic has submitted Fortnite to the US App Store

Epic Games has filed a motion to bring its Fortnite game back to the US App Store after a court ruling permitted it to avoid collecting fees from purchases outside the platform. The company plans to modify its sales platform, including offering a new payment system with no commissions on the first $1 million in revenue per app annually. Apple, which previously restricted apps like Spotify from charging separately, is appealing this decision, but Epic highlighted developers' growing options for bypassing the App Store's fees. Meanwhile, some game developers are suing Apple for failing to comply with a court order that banned its App Store fees unless it allows out-of-App purchase discounts.
