Nintendo warns that it can brick Switch consoles if it detects hacking, piracy

Nintendo has issued a major update to its EULA, warning users that using their Switch or Switch 2 devices in unauthorized ways—such as through pirated games or hacked hardware—could permanently disable the systems. The new language also grants Nintendo broad discretion to suspend access to account services if it believes such violations may occur or are necessary for legal or technical reasons.
