Apple may stagger next year’s iPhones to make way for a foldable

Apple will simplify its iPhone release schedule next year by introducing a foldable iPhone alongside its slimmer model, delaying the standard iPhone 18 until spring 2027. The foldable is expected in late 2026 with a book-style design and Face ID, while Ming-Chi Kuo has noted it will likely be about 4.5–4.8mm thick when open.
