Time for a civic uprising

In the struggle between progress and decay, the legacy of centuries of building institutions—constitutional frameworks, alliances, legal systems, scientific advancements, media outlets, charities, businesses, and universities—faces an existential threat from Trumpism, which prioritizes power acquisition over principle. This ideology, driven by personal ambition and a disdain for higher human virtues like learning or compassion, seeks to dismantle these very institutions that have historically fostered harmony, justice, and well-being. As it does so, the future of civilization as we know it stands in jeopardy.
