At least 60 innocent people injured or killed in Sweden's gang war

In Sweden, gang-related violence has claimed the lives of at least 60 non-involved individuals over the past few years. Many victims were relatives of gang members, mistaken for criminals, or present in the wrong place. The perpetrators are often young, influenced by drugs, and lack local knowledge. In 2023 alone, two-thirds of these incidents involved innocent people. So far this year, five have been injured and one killed as a result.
