Escape From New York Is Returning to VHS With Brand New Artwork

Escape From New York, the 1981 cult classic by John Carpenter, is making a comeback in VHS format for fans who cherish this nostalgic era. Vice Press is releasing a limited edition slipcase with new artwork alongside collector’s editions featuring the original poster and Matt Ferguson’s art. For those skipping the VHS, they’ve also launched lithographs inspired by Barry E. Jackson’s iconic image of Snake Plissken. All items go on sale on Thursday, May 15th at 2 p.m. ET for £30 VHS and £40 to £50 posters.
