Trump administration sanctions International Criminal Court judges

The US has imposed sanctions on four judges from the International Criminal Court (ICC), accusing them of acting unlawfully against the United States and its allies, including Israel. This move is seen as an attempt to undermine the court's independence following Trump's administration opposing an ICC investigation into Israeli actions in Gaza. The targeted judges include Solomy Balungi Bossa from Uganda, Luz del Carmen Ibanez Carranza from Peru, Reine Adelaide Sophie Alapini Gansou from Benin, and Beti Hohler of Slovenia. As a result, their US-based properties and assets will be blocked, and involvement in certain transactions is prohibited.
