xAI’s Grok chatbot can now ‘see’ the world around it

Grok, xAI’s chatbot, now powers a vision feature that can answer questions about objects in your smartphone camera, like products or signs—similar to real-time features on Gemini and ChatGPT. Available only for iOS currently, the app isn’t yet available for Android. New capabilities include multilingual audio and real-time search via voice mode, accessible on Android but limited to xAI’s SuperGrok plan. Grok has been steadily adding features, such as a memory function for past conversations and a canvas tool for creating documents.
