Jim Morrison’s long-lost graveside bust turns up during French police search

37 years after its disappearance at Jim Morrison's grave in Paris, a sculpture carved in memory of the American singer was finally found during a police investigation linked to a fraud case. The tall, doe-eyed bust, originally created by Croatian artist Mladen Mikulin and placed on Morrison’s headstone in 1981, has been uncovered after 37 years, though it now features altered art and missing parts due to prior vandals. Despite efforts to return the sculpture to Morrison's grave, little progress has been made since its fate remains unclear more than three decades later.
