Samsung's Tap to Transfer cash feature is coming to the Wallet app this month

Samsung's new "Tap to Transfer" payment feature is making sending money easier in the U.S. Launched alongside the Galaxy S25 series in January, this feature allows users to transfer funds between friends or family by tapping their smartphones together using the Samsung Wallet app—no need for online banking transfers as payments appear within minutes via NFC. Partnering with Visa and Mastercard, the feature works seamlessly with debit cards stored in Samsung Wallet, making it accessible even for those without mobile banking but who have a debit card.
