AMD strikes a deal to sell ZT Systems’ server-manufacturing business for $3B

"Semiconductor giant AMD has finally gone ahead with its plan to sell ZT Systems’ server-manufacturing business to Sanmina for $3 billion, including a mix of cash and stock payments. The deal is expected to close by year-end 2025 after regulatory approval, following the completion of the acquisition in March 2025. AMD will retain control over ZT Systems’ AI solutions design business as part of this divestiture, marking an ongoing effort to streamline its operations and focus on core competencies."
