Ukraine and US sign memorandum on minerals deal, Kyiv says

Ukraine and the United States have signed an initial Memorandum of Intent towards a final agreement on developing minerals in Ukraine. The memorandum paves the way for an Economic Partnership Agreement and an investment fund for reconstruction. Negotiations were temporarily disrupted in February due to a disagreement between President Trump and Ukrainian President Zelenskyy. Work continues towards finalizing the deal, which both sides hope will be beneficial.
