Jillian Lauren, Wife of Weezer Bassist, Pleads Not Guilty to Charges in LAPD Shooting

Jillian Lauren, the wife of Weezer bassist Scott Shriner and a bestselling author, pleaded not guilty to felony charges related to a Los Angeles Police Department officer-involved shooting where she was seen pointing a gun toward a fence while officers stood behind it. She faces up to 19 years in prison if convicted. Lauren, who released two memoirs reaching the New York Times bestseller list, is due back in court on June 18 for a preliminary hearing after being booked on suspicion of attempted murder.
