Thailand Arrests Executive Linked to Bangkok Tower Felled by Earthquake

Thai authorities arrested a Chinese national linked to a company involved in a Bangkok building collapse during last month's earthquake, which killed dozens. Zhang Chuanling, an official from China Railway 10th Engineering Group subsidiary, was detained along with three Thai nationals accused of violating Thailand’s Foreign Business Act by improperly allowing foreign ownership. The collapse occurred at the only building affected in the earthquake, raising questions about safety and corporate accountability.
