USMNT's Weston Mckennie in talks to extend Juventus deal

"Juventus is in talks with Weston McKennie to extend his contract before it expires at the end of 2025-26. The American midfielder has been key for Juve this season, making 40 appearances and scoring five goals, but his involvement in the Club World Cup may prevent him from participating in the Concacaf Gold Cup with the USMNT. McKennie's career began with Schalke 04 after moving to Germany following a spell at MLS' FC Dallas. He joined Juventus permanently in August 2020 and has since overcome an unhappy loan spell at Leeds United, making 60 appearances for the U.S. national team."
