U.K. kicks off party to mark 80 years since the end of World War II

The U.K. marked 80 years since World War II ended with a grand military parade, featuring the royal family and thousands of soldiers from around the world, including NATO forces from the United States, France, Germany, and Ukraine. Held on the damp Mall, which was lined with the Union Jack, tens of thousands defied the weather to watch the event, beginning with a poignant recitation of Winston Churchill's 1945 victory speech by actor Timothy Spall.
