Lea Michele Returning to Broadway in ‘Chess’ Revival

Lea Michele will star as Florence Vassy in the soon-to-open Broadway revival of *Chess*, a Cold War-themed musical about a chess tournament between an American and Soviet grandmaster over a woman they both love. The production, directed by Tony Award winner Michael Mayer and featuring a new book by Emmy Award-winning Danny Strong, will be choreographed by Lorin Latarro and supervised by Usifer. Michele, most recently seen in the Broadway revival of *Funny Girl*, headlines the cast alongside Tony Award winner Aaron Tveit (*Moulin Rouge*) and Nicholas Christopher (*Sweeney Todd*).
