Lilo & Stitch review – Disney’s latest unnecessary remake is a monstrosity

Disney’s live-action remake of *Lilo & Stitch* failed to capture the magic of the original cartoon, blending old animation techniques with CGI in a way that alienated both fans and critics. The movie retained much of the story but sacrificed technical precision for quick cuts and overly cutesy elements, ultimately falling short of its predecessor’s distinctive charm. Like many Disney classics, it fared better than *Snow White* but failed to elevate its source material into something new or special, ending up as a predictable rehash rather than a meaningful reinterpretation.
