Digital photo frame company Nixplay cut its free cloud storage to almost nothing

Nixplay's smart photo frames surprisingly lost their premium cloud storage and syncing features this week, with a 10GB free plan and Google Photos sync access being removed. Users whose accounts exceed the new limit now face restricted access, upsetting many who are adjusting to the changes. Some resort to paid subscriptions for added protection, even as others continue to adapt to the reduced service availability. The company offers two plans: $19.99 for 100GB and $29.99 for unlimited storage, both including Google Photos sync but affected by recent Google syncing updates.
