The Black Women on Broadway Awards will honor LaTanya Richardson Jackson, LaChanze, and Khaila Wilcoxon during their fourth annual celebration in June at CURRENT, recognizing their achievements in theater. This event, founded by Oscar and Tony nominees Danielle Brooks, Amber Iman, and Jocelyn Bioh, celebrates Black women in the arts, expanding its scope to include musicians from Broadway shows, and has grown significantly since its inception with a record number of honorees this year.
